Claims Supervisor

 

Coast Healthcare Management, a progressive and growing managed care organization in the Long Beach area, is seeking a hands-on Claims Supervisor.  Position will be responsible for meeting all audit and compliance requirements and regulations; for timely payment or denial of claims; will provide supervision and customer service support for the claims area.  Must be familiar with AB1455 and other regulatory requirements.  BS degree in Business or related field is required.  Experience with EZCap, Excel and Crystal reporting is required.  To apply e-mail your resume with salary request in confidence to donna@lhpipa.com.


Eligibility and Capitation Coordinator

Coast Healthcare Management, an MSO in the South Los Angeles County, is currently seeking for an Eligibility and Capitation Coordinator. Under the direction of the Eligibility and Capitation Manager, the candidate is responsible for answering eligibility and capitation calls, researching eligibility and capitation questions, reconciling eligibility with capitation reports, processing eligibility transactions and filing reports. This person should be flexible and must be able to meet strict deadlines. Minimum of  one year healthcare experience is required. Must possess good computer skills. Must have a high school diploma or higher. EZCAP experience, a plus.

Senior Member Specialist
 

Lakewood, Alamitos, St Mary and Brookshire IPA, are actively seeking a dynamic professional to function as a Senior Medicare Specialists for the IPA’s Medicare Advantage membership.  This individual must have a basic understanding of the Medicare benefit structure and be able to compare and comprehend each new benefit package presented by contracted health plans during open enrollment.  Must be able to answer member questions regarding healthcare coverage.  The selected individual will work to ensure maximum membership enrollment and retention through the fostering of strong relationships with health plan sales and marketing personnel.  Job tasks include public speaking, planning special events, coordinating and participating in hospital activities such as health fairs and flu clinics, and attending open enrollment and age-in meetings all to promote the IPA.  This role requires a high level of verbal and written communication skills, Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint skills are a must. Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field is required along with a thorough knowledge of managed care industry and/or 3 or more years experience a health care related field.
